Diet Pepsi launched their new “Skinny Can” this fashion week, saying their “slim, attractive new can is the perfect complement to today’s most stylish looks.” They claim that their “taller, sassier new Skinny Can” is a “celebration of beautiful, confident women.” This message caused quite a stir, angering eat disorder activists. What do you think? A creative campaign or marketing misstep?
